Welcome to the Sunbury Nursing Homes website. Sunbury Nursing Homes is
a family run care home based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, UK specialising
in the nursing care of older people including those suffering from dementia.
Sunbury Nursing Homes is a long established care home now in our 76th year
of providing top quality nursing care having admitted our first patient
on 2nd October 1932.
Sunbury Nursing Homes is, we believe, the oldest care home in Middlesex
and Surrey and indeed one of the oldest care homes in the UK. Throughout
our long history Sunbury Nursing Homes has been managed and owned by the
White family. This family involvement now spans five generations and the
home has been actively led by the Matron for over forty years, Mrs E White
RGN, who is supported by a very dedicated and experienced team of Nurses,
Care Assistants and other staff to enable us to provide the very highest
standard of nursing care.
Our care home is located in Sunbury-on-Thames, which is situated on the
borders of Surrey, Middlesex and the London Borough of Richmond meaning
Sunbury Nursing Homes is ideally placed for anyone requiring a care home
in any of those areas although we are able to admit people from all parts
of the UK as we have done many times in the past.
Philosophy of Care
Our care home's "Philosophy of Care" is to provide a homely, caring and friendly environment and to deliver the level of care that is appropriate to the individual needs of the person recognising that, at all times, each person has the right to be treated as an individual, with respect and dignity, as well as having a right to privacy and to choice; it is the duty of the management and staff to safeguard these rights and help our residents to exercise them.Rooms availability - as at week beginnning Monday, 5th May 2008
